BLS, ACLS & PALS & NALS
It has been found that the majority of deaths whether within the hospital or outside occur due to cardiac arrest, the underlying cause could be anything. Below is a review of health care statistics of India & Uttar Pradesh :
- In 2016, heart diseases were the biggest killer, accounting for 28.1% of all deaths in India,
- Only two percent of Indians are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Awareness of patient resuscitation through CPR is minimal. This program aims at providing training on BLS ( Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advance Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS ( Pediatric Advance Cardiac Life Support) & NALS ( Neonate Advance Cardiac Life Support) as per AHA ( American Heart Association) guidelines.
